Fed<\/span>Ex <\/span><\/strong>Meeting with Famous Person Photobomb<\/span>\"2014-01-28<\/a><\/p>\n

This past week has been an incredible amount of serendipity for Super Happy Juice.\u00a0 Our FedEx account manager was able to deliver with a very positive shipping structure that will really give us the flexibility to launch our Brand.\u00a0 He has been just incredible with his efforts and results.\u00a0 And, we were blessed with a “famous person” photobomb in my PotD.\u00a0 If you can guess who it is, I will send you a free bottle or two of Super Happy Juice–shipped via FedEx, of course!<\/p>\n

Super Happy Juice also had a fantastic experience at a Pre-Grammy Party promoted by PlanetLA Music and hosted at The Village Recording Studios<\/p>\n

There was an incredible amount of like-minded people and a great way to begin to promote the brand.<\/p>\n

Of course, it makes it easy when your business partner is very photogenic.<\/p>\n

Last week, I made it up to San Fransisco for the Fancy Foods Show<\/p>\n

I used to live in Berkeley, and returning to The City brought back a few memories.\u00a0 There is an energy in SF that is vibrant and palpable; different than Los Angeles, which is a little flashier. I definitely need to visit more!<\/p>\n

As the focus of this post, I made several new contacts and reestablished a few older ones.\u00a0 It’s refreshing to see people after a “break” of a couple of years, and be able to pick up where we left off.\u00a0 Lesson Learned:\u00a0 ALWAYS be polite, nice, and memorable.\u00a0 (aka, Super Happy)<\/p>\n

Today I had two events at the alma mater<\/em> UCLA-Anderson.\u00a0 One event was listening to David Booth, co Founder of Dimensional Fund Advisors, www.dfaus.com<\/a>, and someone who gave a few hundred million to endow a business school.\u00a0 (Many Million)<\/a> I have a standing rule to always listen to a Billionaire, regardless of what they are saying.\u00a0 They have done something right, and there is always something to learn.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second event was a mentoring event put on by Anderson EDGE, a great program run by an alumni friend of mine.\u00a0 I was able to reconnect with a person I mentored last year, and catch up with some challenges she was having with her sales team.\u00a0 Additionally, I was able to help two other former classmates of mine with some of their sales challenges too.\u00a0 In a nice, quid pro quo<\/em> I was also recommended to a few good people that can help @SuperHappyJuice.<\/p>\n

Very excited about the next few days.\u00a0 Our website is going live on Friday, so I’m relying on some very trusted people.<\/p>\n

I wouldn’t want it any other way.<\/p>\n
